Your journey at GenLayer starts with engagement. We recommend diving into our Discord first to connect with our community of incredible, forward-thinking Mindbenders (aka GenFrens). Once you've settled in, make sure to bridge that connection over to our X Community.

Once you communicate in our #neural-activity channel briefly, you earn the “Molecule” role and gain access to all of our entry-level community channels**.**
Roles in our community have their unique perks, and responsibilities.
Role Progression requires a certain amount of Discord XPs and POAPs (Proof of attendance Protocol) and as you reach higher, new requirements await you.

Functional Roles:

** The Singularity role is GenLayer’s highest community role, recognizing members with a strong understanding of GenLayer who consistently go above and beyond. It recognizes sustained, high-impact contributions from those who actively help grow, support, and strengthen the ecosystem through meaningful, exceptional contributions beyond basic participation or progression.* Applications are accepted during the last week of each month via tickets and reviewed at the end of the month. A maximum of two members per month may earn the role, with final selections made at month-end.
Role purges occur for long-term inactive members holding the Singularity, Brain, or Neurocreative roles.
